My name is Karen Jesus. I’m a Grade 12 high school student with a passion for writing and creating fantastic worlds.

 

I started Moonlit Quill to showcase my creative works. I share my drafts, planning, and thoughts about my writing and why it means so much to me.

I was born a daydreamer and would love to share my wild imagination with the world. ​Reading and writing have always been interesting hobbies. Even as a kid, I found it mesmerizing. Having the power to create scenarios, live out adventurous stories, and experience the impossible. From specially arranged words, I was able to escape from reality.

Other than writing and reading, I love listening to music. The rhythms, tunes, and lyrics can tell their own stories. Music can express emotions like no other. This is why I love mixing writing with music. I play the violin and love creating covers of amazing songs that I relate to.

​My writing spans across genres, from science fiction and fantasy to romance and adventure. My stories reflect my love for exploring new worlds and exciting story lines with unexpected plot twists and romance. I’ve penned pieces like Royal Decree and written super serious topics like The Student Debt Crisis.​

 

​I hope my stories can bring others the enjoyment and entertainment they brought me.
